I agree. I had a chance to drive my father-in-laws 2004 Ram Quad Cab 2500 with a Cummins in it and for the 100 miles or so that I drove it the fuel mileage was around 16-16.5 (according to the overhead console). That was running down I-70 between Loveland and Ft. Collins at 70+ MPH. That is a difference of around 7 mpg at roughly the same price per gallon. That pays for that Cummins in a big hurry.
