Can anyone enlighten me regarding the timing marks? I have what looks like a 10 or a zero, but I can't tell which is which. I know the proper timing is 2 degrees before top dead center, and it must not be critical as I got mine going by ear, but it would be nice to get it right. I see marks, but all the same, so I guess I need to know which end of the scale is zero? Left or right?
I will still have to wonder if the sheet metal pointer is "calibrated", but it looks straight. I want to paint the right timing mark white so I can put a timing light to it and see to adjust the timing.
HELP!
