Well, hopefully someone can help me sort through this. I started saturday with a 230 that ran, but not very well. According to the induction timing light, it was only hitting on 3/4 cylinders. I had ordered plug wires, cap, rotor, points and condersor. I installed the plug wires, cap, and rotor and then decided to try to start it up. Nothing. I have checked and double checked the timing, the firing order, power at coil, etc. In addition, I have had the carb off to check it out, and changed the plugs. I am getting good spark and fuel, but all it does is back fire out the cab real bad. I have flooded it a couple time and have let it dry out by removing the plugs and letting it sit over night. It is almost like the timing is off 180, but I haven't done anything to get it off that far. Help!
Frustrated in MS,
Dan
