That's the problem with a truck like this though...I've talked to several different people over the past week who would love to own that truck to remove the lifting equipment & even to install a bed on it to make it more salable....that would be very sad in my opinion.
I don't want to be part of any comity, nor would I expect anything in return for my contribution, I'd just like to see it saved, that's all. I heard the truck could be bought for $4000 & raising $4000 on this forum to save it shouldn't be hard I wouldn't think.
Where the truck ends up is really of no consequence to me so long as it isn't destroyed or altered. Paul's Museum was just one option. If I could afford the whole $4000 I'd donate it myself.
What's $100 anyway? Costs that much to fill up your gas tank up here! Ha Ha!
