Spitfire motor??

I have a chance to pick up a Spitfire motor. Need to know some info on it, if anyone can help (what year is this motor), block # C28-36605. Will the carb fit my 230? It has a good manifold, starter etc... Would I be better off switching it out with the 230 I have?
