Large wheels/tires for W300

At a California PW Rally earlier this year, Rob Stellar (sp?) appeared with a 1960's W300 that had large wheels and tires on it, something like 22.5s. I never saw a clear photo of his wheels & tires, nor could I tell whether he had the '68 and earlier 6 bolt hubs or the '69 and later 8 bolt hubs. Does anyone have photos of or information on his wheels and tires? I'm trying to rise to the challenge of mounting radial all weather highway tires on my '68 W300. Thanks for your help and ideas.
