Good piont, Mike. Another concern is offset. I'm thinking a 37 or 38" dia tire (like the Yokohama TY303 in 255/70R22.5 @ 37.0" diameter, or maybe a Michelin XDHT 275/80R22.5 @ 40.7" diameter, on an Alcoa 22.5 aluminum wheel) might work. I still have to determine offset with a different wheel profile from the Budd 16 x 6.50s. But the adopters from the below web site seem to push the wheel out by roughly the difference in wheel offset. Need more data, but trying to come up with a tubeless wheel & tire combination with an all season or highway tread. Thanks for all input!
