"2004 Engine Ratings. At product launch for the 2004 model year, the 235 horsepower/460 Lb.ft. torque standard output engine will be the only engine available in California, New York, Massachusetts, Vermont, and Maine. For all other states, Dodge will offer only the High Output 305 horsepower/555 lb.ft torque ratings."
Is this due to polution requirements ? Wonder if you went to a state not listed and bought the Ram with the HO Diesel if you could get it registered in one of the listed states, ie NY, or if your stuck with a truck that can not be registerd.
