You have to raise the RPM's to match where the gear wants to go in. Double clutching or even clutching at all can be avoided if you simply shift EASILY without forcing it and FIND THE CORRECT RPM's so that shifter will S-L-I-D-E into that gear like a butter knife cutting soft butter.
