The easiest way to get more power out of a diesel is by changing the injectors and retuning the fuel/injector pump. For even more power you start by lowering the compression and then find a way to stuff more air into the cylinders. This is done by adding turbo's and/or superchargers. Professional tractor pullers in the super stock class have been doing this for many years. I've seen tractors at pulling events that were literlly ordered part by part out of the catalog. It's really something to watch one that has been set up with 3 or 4 turbo's with either water or alcohol injection go down a 100 foot pulling track. Robert
