I dropped my 93 Cummins off at a local shop that is well known for their work on Cummins diesels. I told him that it's in need of more power & what could he do for me. To make a long story short, 1 day later, a new set of injectors, smaller turbo housing & some work on the pump & it now has over 250HP at the rear wheels from the 125HP it had at the rear wheels when I dropped it off there.
This was not the impressive part though....there was a truck up from Washington they had on the dyno...no idea of the year but it looked like a 96? They had built an engine for him & it was idling when I drove in. Shortly thereafter they cranked it up & let me tell you...if you haven't heard a 600HP Cummins engine before, you're really missing out! That thing sounded absolutely amazing! You could actually feel the power of this thing, not just hear it.
They had it running at 4000RPM for over an hour & boy was that thing impressive!
What does a guy do with it you ask? No idea, but I suspect anything he wants!
You should see the amount of rubber left on the road infront of this place!
I honestly just didn't believe that a diesel was capable of this insanity!
