How much is a Deuce&Half, 2.5 Ton Military? 6x6 worth

I came across a Deuce&Half the other day it is a running driving truck, the only thing it needs is a spare tire holder and a big crease has to be removed in the tail gate.
He will not take less than $3,000.00 for it, is it worth it.

(there is no rust, troop seats are all there, almost new surplus motor less than 5,000 on it, used trans with all the seals replaced)
