An excellant book. If I remember correctly from reading it, they designed the fuel tanks
so that they were actually leaking fuel sitting on the tarmac. Then after take off when they got to altitude, the heat would expand the titanium so the leaking would stop. The book also covers the U2, and the F-117. Amazing that all this was taking place right in the Burbank airport area. Testing was done at night so nobody would be
able to see the planes. Impressive, since computers weren't being used that much back then. Anyone remember how to use a slide rule?
