This is the end project of a 5 year frame-off restoration. The completion of which would not have been possible without the help of numerous friends from the PW forum community. I started with a basket case that was Colorado faded red, (pink), when I got it. The truck had a dump bed on it, converted to 12 volt, hour meter, LU-2 winch and a re-power engine, electrcal temp. gauge and grip spur tires. It now has the correct 2nd series bed, converted back to 6 volt, (kept the hour meter and the grip spurs), acquired the correct winch, rebuilt the 230 and added a square top carb. Everything was epoxy primered and the final paint is 54 Equador blue with black fenders/running boards. Bed wood is select Wisconsin kiln dried white oak covered with three coats of spar urethane varnish, bed strips painted black. I still have some things to do like installing the winch cable and wipers.
