Budd 08247z 70x108 bed mfg date 12-20-1940 Color NOW, is black fenders/red body, but beneath the red, is OD Green, and POSSIBLY USN Blue... so I'm guessing it was built and painted for one war contract, then repainted for another, then finally given a civilian red/black?

Grandson of owner says originally military contract cancelled, sold surplus to City of Lake City, Mn, purchasedby Hansen's Harbor Marina, and used for on-site work there.
