Purchased truck in Healdsburg CA in 2013. Had sat for 10 years with nothing done to it. Plymouth Engine that had several broken rings which had enlarged groves up to 3 times. Originally was not going to paint it as it was utility truck orange. But with body repairs needed I decided to have some body work done and painted back to original. I had a the paint custom matched to a spot under the door panel. Had to do it twice since I switched painters mid-stream. You cant tell the difference between the paint batches. My refurbish plan was to fix what was broke, not a frame off. I picked up a T245 in Grants Pass,OR and rebuilt it. Parts from Dave Cirrilo for transfer case and transmission. Brakes, gas tank, radiator, leaf springs were different sizes in the front. Used poplar for the bed since it was painted black, I kept many un-restored working items like the VR and generator. Added combat wheels. It had a spotlight and marker likes so I kept them. Found a power wagon carcass someone wanted a offer on with in 10 miles of me. For $150 I could take what ever I wanted. That was a great find. Wish I had a trailer and a place to keep the frame but had to leave it. truck has been driving for a couple years now.
