F Y I when using nos seals (leather) the book sez to soak them in neatsfeet oil ( baseball glove conditioner) for about 30 mins and then work the leather with a blunt tool (ie deep socket or extension) to limber up the leather. I just recently changed my newly installed napa pinion seal (leather) that failed in less then 100mi with an old nos one and after 180mi so far no problem ( God I hope POW doesn't read this)
