Sounds like a dead short in the starting circuit. Check your ignition switch and all the wires including the ones going through the fire wall to make sure something hasn't melted through from the heat. Something is obviously not hooked in right in some fashion(not critisizing your work, I know how you feel, someone had cut every single wire in my '58 w100 before I got the truck 2 and1/2 months ago. I had to re-wire the ENTIRE truck, and even with a wiring diagram I still have bugs in the system.) tell me more about it and I bet I could help you. I've had alot of experience with the electronic ignitions.
