aaaaahhhh! yes, during the 1950s pacific gas and electric based in oakland cal, had a fleet of more than 400 wdx, b-1, b-2 and b-3 power wagons, i have one and bob evans has one that is the next serial number from my truck! that color is similar to 'pg&e fleet brown of the 1950s, pg&e had safety stripes on the front bumper and reflective safety stripe decals on the tailgate, my truck still has the original pg&e first aid kit on the sidewall passenger side of the cab!All their fleet were san leandro trucks! (only a few miles away) they had a large fleet of ford / marmon herrington 3 and 5 ton line trucks also in the 60s they bought 2.5 ton ford / napco cab over trucks, some are still in use today! when i was a kid early 60s my next door neighbors dad was a fleet mechanic at pg&e.
