Stock tire for a 5.83 geared truck is 9.00-16.
The metric equivalent of that size is a 235/115-16.
Going to a 17" wheel isn't much different: 235/105-17
Neither size is offered anywhere that I could find. Seems like a lot of guys run the wide tires on the (narrow) stock wheels, though.
You might look up Wheels Now in Waukesha WI. They stock a lot of older sized wheels and they're advertising custom lug patterns. Might be what we are all looking for..
