I’m not really a clear coat man. I realize our new cars are base/clear but it’s just such a modern look. I find it odd some people don’t notice the difference? I guess everyone’s eyes work different but my eyes…I can tell the difference from 200’ away. It’s just a totally different look than single stage paints. For me, I mean single stage urethane is the best in my mind but even farm tractor enamel is a better look for my eyes just it’s not as durable.
Acrylic enamel…can you even still get it anywhere? It’s the most authentic although to me urethane looks the same only it’s twice as tough.
