I agree with urethane Base Paint is durable I know a guy who used a piece of well casing to make a rear bumper for hes ramcharger and he painted it with urethane I thought it would not hold up because well casing is hard to have paint hold up on and on the rear with all the road salts but 5 years it still looks great You must wear gear for painting it is toxic more then some others But you should wear a respirator and suit up while painting any vehicle
