You want a dualley? Thats what you'll get if you buy a 94 and up one ton.
There are a few 1998 12 valve quad cab trucks running around. I test drove one of these, to replace my regular cab 1998 24
valve, but liked the power of mine better.
I would prefer a mechanical injector pump of the 12V.
The 12 valve requires frequent adjustments, so if you dont know how to run the valves be prepared to pay $100 each time.
$16K will buy a 2wd 1998 12V Quad Cab right now, give it a few months and the prices will come down, then you could afford a 4wd.
