I've come up with about the same info that you did. From what I've read, the injector pump is covered under warranty unless you BOMB (Better Off Modified Baby!) the truck out. One theory for the failing injector pump is that it is actually due to failing lift pumps (the lift pump pumps fuel from the tank to the injector pump). When the lift pump fails, it puts allot of stress on the injector pump causing it to fail early. But that was just one theory…
