Crankshaft Bushing - BCA# PB286HD You can rent a pilot bearing puller from Autozone to extract the bushing or use grease with a tight fitting shaft, if you have a lathe, fill the bushing with grease and hit the shaft with a hammer to drive out the bushing. Do install a new bushing and apply some grease on the bushing surface where the trans shaft rides.

You'll need a clutch alignment tool - Pioneer# TAT5349 to align the disk to the pilot hole, if tool did not come in kit.

Apply a light coat of chassis grease to the disk splines, this ensures smooth operation and prevents disk from rusting to trans shaft when sitting for long periods.

When installing the clutch cover, tighten the screws a turn or two to avoid distorting the cover. Torque screws to 15 - 20 foot pounds.

Install a new throw-out bearing on the bearing sleeve - NAPA# 1087 Don't assemble w/o doing this.

The sleeve should have a recess area midway inside, if so apply a little grease only to that area. That ensures smooth operation w/o getting grease further into clutch assembly.

It's important you install the clutch sleeve pull back spring in correct direction to prevent it from pulling out - see link.

Install new bushings in bell housing and clutch fork flange, they are probably fairly worn. You can tell by looking at the bushing, if you see no cups, it need replaced.
