the water pump and crank pulley for belts is a big issue. I looked at the 60s jeep SOC set up and big changes to the mopar would have to be done. with pushrod much less custom parts and only change cam and lifter screws, remove guides in bottom end. I wouldn't be concerned with heat. mopars since the 30s are the most cold blooded engines mainly because they have longer water jackets around the cylinders which in the big picture means the head will run cooler too.
I know a couple pattern makers up here. If I can ever get the time to go sit with them we can get patterns worked out.
The part that makes it less likely is the cost of machining. so many steps involved in a head
