Riveting a frame is doable, but not for the faint of heart. You will need a heavy pneumatic riveter and setter $$$ (not a harbor freight air hammer), a bucking bar for the back of the rivet, a couple extra pairs of hands, and some practice getting a feel for the process. There are a few good videos on youtube that will help, but I found there is precious little information out there on how to do it right. Alex at Blackwater Fabrication did some decorative riveting on his WC53, and he found it to be fairly challenging work, and he's quite gifted in that department.
