Great for hard to reach places. This is the method I use. It deposits the rust on the sacrificial piece.
Three things to keep in mind:
Electrons flow from Negative to Positive, not the other way, as most believe. Don’t hook it up backwards.
You can use Soda ash as the electrolyte. Any pool supply store, or Home Depot, sells it cheap.
Do not use this method on springs. It will make them brittle.
