The three different beds used on the WDX-WM300 model trucks from 1946-1968 are commonly referred to as 1st series, 2nd series, and 3rd series. They are distinctly different from one another. And to add even more confusion, each series has an "early" version an a "late" version with minor changes between the versions. So, there technically are 6 different beds used throughout the life span of the 1-ton Power-Wagon, and no two at the same time.
Junior
