Hello All. It's my second time posting here. I just received my new to me 1977 Power Wagon. This is my first effort of any kind doing something with a vintage vehicle. My plan is to put wide tires on it to keep it more buoyant when driving around on my generally wet property.
In the short time I have had it I have been considering various things to do with it. Here's a link to it - https://www.ebay.com/itm/265589651734 - it is apparently quite original but I don't know enough about these yet to be sure. Anyway, for the purposes of value, is it better to leave it as original as possible and do all the little repairs with online stuff from parts vehicles, or is it better to use new aftermarket parts and not worry about it being completely original?
I don't want to dishonor it, but parts, it seems, are not that easy to come by regardless. Any of your thoughts are appreciated. Thank you.
