I agree with Vaughn, except. Some MU-2 winches have a left hand gear set. Some have a right hand gear set. Even with the cable correctly paying off of the bottom of the drum the PTO shaft will turn either clockwise or counter clockwise depending upon whether you have right or left hand gear sets.
