Expressing our emotions on this site has always been well received by its members whether it’s the passing of a loved one, frustration with a Power-Wagon problem, angered at current events, or just needing to vent about life. We are always willing to lend a hand. Sometimes we go a little too far in our rants on a subject, and thankfully, Joe keeps us reined in.
It’s nice to acknowledge the positive effect parents or others have had on our life, pushing us, or pointing us in the right direction so we might become good citizens. Your Mom and Dad appeared to be those kinds of parents you look to as your heroes and when we no longer have them in our life, the grief that follows can be difficult to bear.
They say time is the healer, and for most of us, time allows grief to erupt less often, never fully recovering from a loss. I guess it is good to remember and when we do, be thankful for the joy and love they gave us. RIP!
