Yep, it's working out one bug at a time. Its been 20 years of bug chasing from a well worn out truck for me, but I can say, I've got a nice quiet drive train and good riding truck now. Hope that doesn't discourage him :=(
I see one post over at the WW2 forum where a guy rebuilt his single speed transfer case using all new gears and bearings adjusted properly he says, and it's making so much noise he may have to wear ear plugs. So things don't always work the way you think they should. The bearings in it may be too tight or too loose, there is a specific way they must be adjusted, not sure he followed it.
