I predict the more silly people get with electric vehicles and ridiculous electronics, it will drive more appreciation for trucks than can still get the job done even when the internet goes down.
Trucks are more timeless than cars. Middle-aged guys with money buy the hot cars they couldn't afford in high school. But men of all ages can relate to the trucks their dad drove or their grandpa, or that safari movie they really liked.
Trucks do real work. Trucks get us outdoors and facilitate exploration and adventure. All of those things are disappearing from this modern world. People buy trucks to connect them to the real world that used to be.
