If you turned it 90 degrees before it stopped turning, then I suspect a stuck valve. Pull the head and find out which one and put penetrating oil and etc on it.
The fact that it turned says the crank is turning and the pistons are free in the cylinders. The cam is also rotating but is stopped when it trys to move the stuck valve.
