I’m kind of in the same boat but camp GM. I bought a 2018 3500HD a year ago & it gets worked hard. At least 50% towing miles & with 130k on it I haven’t done a single thing to it except oil & fuel filters. It still runs like new...25mpg running empty on the hwy.
I have no complaints other than they’re expensive to buy.
Really I bought it because I inherited my fathers 2012 Duramax & the Allison transmission is just light years ahead of anything Dodge or Ford have to offer & really...that seems to be the biggest issue with any of these diesels except the 6.0 Ford...that one is just a big piece of junk.
