First, the tank is brand spanking new. A re-pro from Europe, I think.
Then, on the trip across Washington, I was so frustrated that I bought an entire roll of rubber fuel line and ran it direct from the tank to the pump following the original fuel line path. Hotel parking lot down in Oregon, crawling around under the truck. The hotel people were really good about the whole deal and I was pretty appreciative about it all.
My thought now, from reading all of this, is the &^E# Exhaust flapper valve. Its stuck 1/2 so you know there's hot exhaust getting in there.
