I do not yet have the clutch arm, but the clutch itself is there. I understand about some movement, but this movement almost takes the clutch dogs to a scary place on the drum, that if there was enough tension, they might pop out or worse round both the clutch and drum dogs. This movement is more like 1/4 to 1/2". And like I said it hits the grease zerk and will wear or snap that off
