The factory parts lists indicate that power steering was available on the FFPW from 1957 through 1960 and the steering gear remained the same throughout these years as an assembly unique to these trucks. The factory parts lists also indicate that the engine head mounted pump was used from 1957 through 1959. I will research to confirm that the last year of power steering availability - 1960 - was when the pump mounting switched from the engine head to the back of the generator.
