I don't know what it's like in Canada, but here in the United States, there have only been 40 deaths from this virus. Half of them happened at a nursing home in Washington state.
Meanwhile, over 35,000 people have died from influenza A this year alone in the US. And somehow there is no panic over that!
The reason it went rampant in Europe, particularly Italy, is because they allowed continued unobstructed traveling between Europe and China. But apparently it's xenophobic to halt traveling to and from highly infected areas.
It's complete nonsense!!
