Where is it splitting, the side of the tank, where the tank is sodered to the core? Aluminum doesn't cool as well as copper, and there are a million opinions on this. Does it split due to vibration, fatigued metal, or the tank does not mate well to the core causing stress? Why not have a thicker tank made that can with stand whatever is causing it?
