I have to say I've never had a brake line or gas line rust out from the "inside". Our state loves the use of salt. beet juice and brine that will eat them up from the outside VERY quickly. I now use stainless on anything that gets replaced. Not all locations have the same problems so that comes into play. I'm sure normal lines are never an issue in Nevada.
