I ran my serial number for my 51 PW. It was correctly identified but the build number seems to be too high by one. The literature says the first serial number for 1951?PWs is 83922501. If that is correct, and I add my build number to that my trucks serial number is off by one. I assume the build number is the XXX truck built that year. In my case 1951. So I assume the build number is calculated by subtracting the first truck of that year, which is 83922501 in 1951, from my trucks serial number. In my case the build number would be 83924358 minus 83922501 which is 1857. The decoder says the build number is 1858.
