So I did not change the VR yet. But w tight new fan belt at idle at the battery posts the 12v generator is putting out steady 11.99 v. Rev-ing the engine will bring it up to 12.00 but no more. The archives say should be 14+. Does the gen. need work or could it still be the VR?
