This whole story pisses me off, for a host of reasons! There was no back seat in that car, but somehow there were people in the back compartment, for example.

Define "safety standards". Is the vehicle for street/highway use? Is it for racetrack? If racetrack, what kind? All these applications have different safety standards required.

I'm keeping my truck original. Because the way Chrysler designed it back in the day, is suitable for my use today. If I wanted all the creature comforts/safety features, then I can buy a new truck.
