In the early 80's when the interest rate was so high and work was so scarce I did some electrical work for a cash crop farmer about 30 miles down the road from me. He had a new 555 Versatile articulating tractor at the time. It was also known as, or called "The Triple Nickle". I remember he made the statement about this tractor being so much different than the old smaller tractors. He recalled that it used to be when plowing and you hit a good sized stone it would almost knock you off the seat, but with this 555 when you hit a good sized stone you just fell a slight bump, you look back and see the parts falling off your plow or cultivator.
