Dana 60 or 70 rear - pull the drums and go to disc brakes. Lots of kits for that. Ford used way more Danas than Chubby. Nothing wrong with the 14 bolt - militay axles came with 4.56 gears and a Detroit locker.
Upper shock mounts - I used some late model Ford cast ones on the front- but I needed to make some mods to the splash aprons.
Good luck using stock springs on the front end -both the Dodge and Chev axles have spring perches that are a bit farther apart than the stock axle.
