Was talking to with some fire fighters on the weekend.
We were working together on a SAR project. They brought up the subject of ignition sources in the bush.
They sighted some specific cases when such things have happened, where the fire source was questionable and a couple of cases where certain folks were not hired and the fires stopped happening. We are talking forest fires not residential. Part of the issue stemmed from the fact that in the past if you were not deployed you were not paid.
There is always a goof or two who do something for their own gain.
