There are three pieces that make up the floorboard on the FFPW, the transmission cover, and the left and right side pieces. Where the side pieces overlap the transmission cover there is a depression under the pieces creating an air gap. The fixed piece of the cab is stepped down and looks like something should lay in the channel to fill the air gap. I do not have anything that would look like a filler piece.
In the attached photo you can see the channel in the cab floor as unpainted metal. the black painted transmission cover overlays that step down channel. It seems to me this space would create an opening that would allow water and air into the cab. What goes in this channel?
