I am not sure if Odyssey makes 6V but I have one I bought 12 years ago and I was having trouble with my truck cranking too slow. So I decided 12 years of abuse it must be the battery. Well I bought a brand new Odyssey and still slow cranking. Still not sure of the problem but after digging a little I found the 00 cables were quite warm. Definitely not the battery but maybe a bad starter or ??? I never should have doubted the old battery and I will use it in something else I guess. I should note that I have drawn the old battery so low it wouldn't light the dashboard lights and I never use a maintainer. When I have really drawn it down I usually jump it but sometimes I will put it on a regular charger.
